SIMR is an eight-week program in which high school students are invited to perform basic research with postdoctoral fellows, students and researchers on a medically-oriented project. Positions are open for sophomores with the expectation of a year-round two-year term. The spots are highly competitive, with less than six total offered to our school per year.
