2024 AP Exams
AP exams are administered each May at Cal High. There is a two-step sign up procedure to secure a spot in the tests. Important: Only Cal High students or those high school-aged students in our enrollment area are eligible to test at Cal High. Testing registration is closed for the 2024 cycle.
School Day SAT
School Day SAT
School Day SAT
Cal High hosts the SAT in October. Registration is made available in early August. No other SAT test dates are available.
School-Day SAT: This is offered specifically for seniors and is not found on the College Board site since it is on a school day. Scores will be available on the College Board site three weeks after testing is completed. Parents should NOT create a student account, as duplicate accounts block each other.

PSAT/PSAT-10
PSAT: The PSAT is designed to see where a junior would score on the SAT if given at that point in time. The PSAT also has the NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) embedded to determine if the student has a score that makes them eligible for National Merit Scholar status as a senior. This test is voluntary, and ONLY available to juniors! It is a once-only test and cannot be repeated.
PSAT-10: The PSAT-10 is a practice for the PSAT. It is given to sophomores who are interested in testing in the environment of a standardized test. The NMSQT is not factored into the scores, and the results of the PSAT-10 do not have an impact on any future college applications or school records. Participation is voluntary.
